A commercial shoot for the Geelong Chamber Orchestra expanded in surprising directions.

I was listening to the music and I had these two ideas

that I wanted to photograph. The first was of the

musician being one with the instrument; the other of

the instrument floating through the air around the

musician like the music, more of a fantasy.

I am inspired by music and the Cello series continues

my interest in using minimal lighting.
